We're at the printer...
Kalvan Kingmaker is at the printers now and we are expecting to receive the first copies in mid-December. This is the first new Kalvan book in 15 years and will not be sold in bookstores. Instead, it will only be available from Pequod Press by mail order. The cover artist is Alan Gutierrez, who painted the cover for John F. Carr & Roland Green's Great King's War. Alan will be doing the covers for future volumes in the Kalvan Saga.
“Kalvan Kingmaker” is the third book in the Kalvan Saga and opens shortly after “Great Kings' War,” following the Army of Hos-Hostigos' stunning victory over Styphon's House's Holy Host at the Battle of Chothros Heights and Phyrax Field. While Great King Kaiphranos of Hos-Harphax has taken to his bed to mourn the death of his oldest son, the people of Harphax City live in fear that Kalvan's Army will be soon be arriving to shot their dreaded guns at the tottering city walls. Meanwhile, as the people of Hos-Hostigos celebrate their great victory, storm clouds are broiling on the far horizon over the Sastrathi fronter... We'll keep you up-to-date on the publication schedule.

Want to be the Web Honcho for Hostigos?
Jessica Mulligan and, before her, David H., graciously offered to be the temporary Webmaster for Hostigos.com, to get the ball rolling. However, we are looking for someone who'd like to be the voluntary Webmaster on a long-term basis. Let me emphasize that this is a VOLUNTEER position.
If you're interested, please contact John Carr at otherwhen@aol.com and we'll discuss it.
