Welcome to my home page.
My name is Greg Kam, but I
use the nickname, Sashimi-X.
I enjoy various hobbies such as
videogames, anime, Japanese doramas,
drawing, J-pop, reading, etc.
I'm a student going to Leeward
Community College in Hawaii.
I am 20 years old.

What I'm interested in:
- Videogames
Videogames play a big part
in my life. I own quite a few
systems and right now I own a
Sega Saturn and Sony Playstation.
I will get a Nintendo64 in the
future when they have more games
and cheaper prices.
- J-pop
I enjoy listening to J-pop.
J-pop is not a strict genre,
but more like a sub-group of
Japanese music. You can find
all sorts of music from techno
to dance. Some of my favorite
artists / groups are Noriko Sakai,
Hikaru Nishida, ZARD, Amuro Namie,
Speed, D&D, B'Dash, etc.
- Anime
Another important part of my
life (aside from family,
friends, and significant others)
would have to be anime. I
became a fan of anime (Japanese
animation) back in the 80's.
My first experience of
anime would have to be Speed
Racer. My mom says I used to
watch that show everytime it
came om, though I don't remember
doing anything of the sort.
I then saw Robotech (Macross in
Japan) and was hooked ever since.
I never really got into anime
until quite a few years later.
I would say it was around 1992
or so when I saw Bubble Gum Crisis
playing at a local comic book store.
After seeing the animation and
story, I was hooked! You never
see this sort of character
development, action, and realism
in American cartoons!
