The Centre For Global Justice was formally launched in November of 2000. Its main aims are to fuse political activism with scholarship.
The Centre For Global Justice is a research, teaching, and training program that critically examines the
policies and actions of governments, international organizations, and
independent actors that affect the realization of human rights around the
world.
The Centre For Global Justice holds a monthly film series, a weekly speaker series,
and periodic conferences and workshops. It has created a research seminar
and a study group, developed case studies, and is offering courses in human rights policy.
The Centre has recently launched a major book series as well as a working papers series.
