Memories
"All the mother-daughter things we did together, yet we did them as friends are some of the best memories I have of Jenni. Another memory is from when Jenni was little and we took her to North Dakota with us to visit my brother. He took us camping for the weekend and when we came home we stank really bad! When we got into the dorm, Jenni went to the bathroom and accidentally locked herself in. We ended up having to call maintenence and they had to take the door off of the bathroom to get her out. We were spraying perfume everywhere to cover up our smell. I can't forget all those times i took Jenni and her friends spook riding either and scared them to death!"
I Love You, Jenni!
Mom
"One of my fondest memories of Jenni is her asking me to throw he pop flies so that she could catch them. She ended up catching one...right between the eyes!"Love you, Jen!
Dad
"My favorite memory was when we were going somewhere once and mom and dad were fighting. Jenni was in the back seat acting like her hands were mom and dad and then every once in a while, one hand would bite the other. I also remember all the times that she has went swimming or roller blading with me."Love,
Brittany
"My favorite memories of Jenni are of her trying to get me in trouble. Just like last week, she tried getting me in trouble by telling dad that I hit her when she really hit me first. Growing up she's always tried getting me in trouble. Things like making me peek at Santa's suit (and then telling Grandma), being a ghost on Christmas Eve (and knocking the christmas tree over) and sticking a motorized car in my hair (which happened to get stuck and had to be CUT out) are just a few of the ways Jen has gotten me into some trouble. She's a great sister, what can I say!"Love,
Danielle
"When I was 7 & Jenni was 5, we had went shopping with our moms. Jenni & I thought it was very cool that our parents were going to let us walk around together by ourselves. I don't remember exactly how it started, but Jenni & I ended up playing tag in the men's department. What happened next is something I am sure she'll never forget. I tripped on my shoe string and fell head-first into a clothing rack. At first I just thought I'd hit my head, but when I moved my hand, Jen let out an earth shattering scream and started crying. I was crying to, but you would have really thought she was the one hurt & not me. Another memory that i have is really not a memory of my own. Jenni and i have been told this story since we were little though. My brother and sister-in-law took Jenni and I to Chuck E Cheeses (then known as Showbiz Pizza) for supper. Jenni and i had a great time playing the cool games and riding on the neat little rides. After awhile my brother called us over to eat. We ran over to the table and started to chow down on the pizza! A few minutes later my brother was like "What're you doing??" Come to find out Jen and I had sat down at SOMEONE ELSE'S table and started eating their food!! My brother quickly hurried us to our REAL table and we at OUR pizza in happiness. That was the LAST time he's ever taken us out to eat again!"

"Sandy & I were baking cookies one day when Jenni was just learning how to walk. She must have been very tired because she walked over to the arm of the chair, laid her head down & fell asleep. I also remember when she was just learning to setup. Her Aunt Jamie, who was 2 years old at the time would push her over every chance she'd get! I thought it was so mean!Love,
Grandma
"My favorite memory about Jennifer was when we took her to North Dakota with us in 1996. We had just finished filling up with gas and I was proceeding to get back on the interstate. I started going down the off ramp by accident & Jen goes "Grandpa! You're going the wrong way!" So I backed up over the median & got turned around and Jenni goes "Grandpa!" The whole time she was just a giggling."Love,
Grandpa
"Dalm-mal-mation was what Jenni called Dalmatian.
Cara and I took Jamie and Jenni to the zoo....Jen was standing in front of the Chimp exhibit watching a Chimp across from her scream and jump....all the sudden it spun around and rammed into the glass right in front of her....she screamed bloody murder!
Sandy and Rob brought Jen out to Minot to visit me (I was single)...took them camping and fed jen Skoal and Beer....she liked it; also she liked Lucky Charms but would only eat the marshmallows. She trashed my dorm room digging through the box to get the mellows....threw the rest on my floor."Love,

"Kim and I had gone up to Rob and Sandy's to swim. Jenni and Danie were there swimming and they were arguing about weight and how much each other needed to lose or something silly like that. Danie told Jenni that she needed to get in touch with Weight Watchers and Jenni stood up and told Danie that she needed to use the phone and call 1-800-Jenni. Kim and I laughed so hard, we thought that was pretty funny; not to mention a quick come back."
Congratulations Jenni!Love,

"Sandy had been pretty stressed out a few years ago and needed a break, so she asked me if I would keep the girls for the weekend. I'm not sure how
old Jenni or Danie were, but Brittany was 1 1/2 years old. She wasn't talking really well yet to communicate what she wanted, (not to mention that she wasn't too keen about staying with her Aunt Katie without her Mommy)and I wasn't used to having to decipher what a little baby had to say. Jenni was outside playing with the other kids when Britt kept asking me something. She would say, "Katie, un a gunk." I would say, "What do you want Britt?"
She would repeat again, "Katie, un a gunk." I tried and tried to understand what she was saying, to no avail. She began to cry and I finally had to call Jenni to come in and tell me what she wanted. I had Brittany to tell Jenni what she wanted. As I waited intently for Jenni to tell me what she wanted, she looked at me with this really exasperated look on her face and said, "Aunt Katie she wants a drink." My mouth dropped to the floor. I asked, "Jenni, how on earth did you get that she wanted a drink out of that gibberish." She said, "I don't know I just do." To this very day Jenni's
Uncle Keith and I still say that we want a "gunk", and every time we do, we
think back to when the girls were little."Best Wishes and Congratulations Jenni!
I Love Ya,
Aunt Katie
"When they ( Jen, Dan, and Brit) were old enough we would get them for a weekend or just overnight,( we called them our girls and still do) we enjoyed having them with us. It has been a tradition in the Johnson house for at least 10 years, for the girls to come to our house Thanksgiving night and spend the weekend with us, during this weekend they would put up our X-mas tree and decorate it. Now that Jen is getting older I thought that she maybe wouldn't want to do it this past Thanksgiving but she did and I think she enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed having her. Sandy commented about how we would spoil "The Girls" when we had them in as much as one X-mas she made Mona and me sweatshirts that said "When Mom say's no ask Aunt Mona and Uncle Keith. So to answer your question our fondest memories are having "The Girls" and to be able to spoil them in such a way that it makes us feel good. We love her very much."Love,
Aunt Mona and Uncle Keith
"I remember this cute little blonde girl that use
to hang around with my daughter Tina when we would visit. She was always
wanting Tina to play with her. The photo I received in the graduation card
couldn't be the same little blonde girl, could it?"Love,
Uncle Mike
Some of the memorys that I have of Jen.
Seeing her for the first time, and thinking how perfect she looked,
Feeling like she is part of me simply because she belongs to my baby brother.
Remembering her tormenting her little sister Danie (well maybe she's not totally perfect)
Being proud of the way she reacts to people, and the way she has grown to be such a beatiful young woman. I wish I could tell you more, but I haven't spent as much time with her as I would have liked to.Love,
Aunt Jeanie
The story that comes to mind when thinking about Jenni is her helping Tracy and I getting all dolled up with curlers in our hair and make up and all....
Congratulations, Jen!Love,
Tina
