He played in Sandringham's 1992 Premiership side.  He was a  member of the VFA side which defeated the VCFL in 1992.  He kicked 12 goals v. Oakleigh in 1992.  He transferred to Smithton (Tas.) as  captain coach in 1993.  Returned to Sandringham in 1994, and played in the 1994 Senior Premiership side.  He played only 3 games in 1995 before succumbing to injury.   He played for Clayton in 1996.

Represented the  VFA against the VFL in 1934.

TOLSON, Clarrie  - 1932-39.  110 games, 105 goals.  Recruited from Collingwood where he played 7 games (2 goals) in 1931.  Won Sandringham's Best and Fairest in 1935, and was leading goal kicker in 1937 (26 goals).  Played FP, HFF, Wing and Rover. He was the first player to play 100 games for Sandringham.

TOMISON, H. - 1935.   2 games, 0 goals.  Recruited from Richmond.

TOMLINS, Stan -  1946-47.  40 games,  74 goals.  Full forward.  Early football with local  junior sides, and developed into a top player in Army teams.  Stan played in the 1946 Premiership side, and the 1947 Grand Final side.  He won the Liston Trophy in 1947.  He applied for a clearance to Richmond in 1948, which was refused.  He crossed to Richmond  without a clearance.  He played with Richmond in 1948 (12 games, 23 goals}.  He coached Sandringham's Reserves in 1955.

TOMS, Graeme - 1967-77, 1983.  53 games, 1 goals.  {2nds - 117 games, 2 goals;  3rds - 14 games, 1 goal}.  Half back flanker.  Graeme played in the 1967 Thirds Premiership side, and the 1969 Reserves Premiership side.  He won the Reserves Best and Fairest in 1969, and 1971.  Captain of the 1975 Reserves. He coached the Reserves in 1978.

TOYNE, Len  - 1946-49.  67 games, 7 goals.  Born at Terang in western Victoria on July 12, 1922 , Leonard Harris Toyne represented Victoria in the Adelaide Schoolboy Carnival in 1936.  In 1937 he played his first game with Geelong Reserves at age 15, continuing to 1941.  He served 4 1/2 years with the A.I.F.  In 1942 he played 17 matches with Fitzroy while Geelong was in recess.  Toyne returned to Geelong in 1945 and won a trophy for third Best and Fairest.  He played senior football with Geelong  1940-41 and 1945 (35 games ,15 goals), and Fitzroy 1942 (12 games, 5 goals). In 1946  Len Toyne married a local girl and came to work and live in Sandringham, and applied for the position of captain coach, and was appointed at only £4/10/-  per week.   Toyne made use of the location of the Sandringham ground, getting his players to run along  the beach and knee high through the shallows to get them to a superb state of fitness.  He won  the Best and Fairest in 1946; and was captain coach from 1946 to Round 4, 1949 when he  reliquished the post (he declared he was umpired out of the game), and joined Melbourne.  He played 13 senior games with Melbourne (18 goals) during 1949 and 1952 (?).    Later Toyne continued to move around, being captain coach of Sturt in SA (1950-51), and South Adelaide (1952).  He then spent a season playing with Launceston (Tas.).  This meant he had played  with seven senior clubs in three states.
