Rebels Acquire Diarmuid Kelly From Rockets

Brent Sutter, General Manager and Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels, announced today that forward Diarmuid Kelly was acquired from the Kelowna Rockets for future considerations. Kelly, 18, is in his second season in the Western Hockey League and is a former member of the Red Deer Optimist Chiefs (Midget AAA).

Brent Sutter's comments on the trade - "We are very pleased to be able to acquire Diarmuid, he’s a big, strong player with tremendous upside. He improves our lineup as well as adds depth. We are looking forward to his arrival and he should fit in well."

With this move, the Rebels have 23 players on their roster.
