The company was involved in various activities including
providing networking solutions, computer training and software development in
collaboration with VJIL Consultants Limited for their domestic and
international market.

He has been successful in
defining and implementing enterprise-wide network installations for many
corporate and government organizations. This included the entire gamut of cable
plant laying to end user administration with the Network O/S. The job involved
implementation and administration of Microsoft products, Windows NT, TCP/IP
connectivity, UNIX; with RDBMs software like Oracle, and SQL Server.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Some of the projects done:

a)
Dr Reddy?s Laboratories, Hyderabadstyle="mso-spacerun: yes"> (January 1999 to June 1999)style='font-size:9.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt'>.Expanded and fine-tuned a network of Clustered NT 4.0
Servers,a SQL Server, a Proxy Server,
an ERP server, and Lotus Notes Server all running Windows NT.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> The Clustering was done over two NT servers
for achieving balance of workload.The
WAN connected the Head Office Complex (four buildings) with plants in six
different locations (within a distance of 25 kilometers) over 2Mbps Radio
Modems.There was an Internet Proxy
Server with a 56Kbps leased line connectivity to the ISP.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> He supervised troubleshooting, monitoring
(using network tools), maintenance of hardware and software of 400 workstations
spread over this geography.
Connectivity included varied media like UTP, Thin and Thick Ethernet and
Fiber. He was instrumental in standardizing the network concepts and products,
backup and restore strategy and reducing the response-time problems with the
user community. Also analyzed and implemented an outsourcing project for the
LAN/WAN User Desk Management for the entire network. Also in the project were Software upgrading, Virus updating, a
?Y2K Compliance drive? (BIOS and software checking, patching and reviewing
strategy) for the entire hardware setup

An
incident worth mentioning is the Fire accident here in March 1999, when the EDP
room went up in flames on a Friday morning (0800 hours).style="mso-spacerun: yes"> This portion of the room housed the entire
LAN and WAN connectivity hardware of the organization.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> The WAN connectivity was restored by noon
using standby devices and the LAN was put up by 1900 hours.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Worked round the clock to revamp the network
plant in the EDP room and restructure it.
The users were transparent to the entire situation when they returned to
work the next Monday morning.
