Newer Methods for treating FeLV+ Cats is a project page designed to educate people (and vets) who care for cats about newer and more effective ways for treating feline leukemia. This page is dedicated to my beloved Vyvyan , who died of leukemia on August 15, 1997. If only I had known then what I know now.
A Tribute To Our FeLV Bridge Kittties is a memorial page that I have set up for people whose precious feline babies have gone to Rainbow Bridge long before their time because of feline leukemia.
My Zen Room is my main homepage where you can find out who I am, what my interests are (including links to music artists', authors', and disabilities web sites), information about local TV and radio stations, and assorted computer-related applications.
Welcome to the Adventures of a Disabled Student at NIU is a web page that I created to inform people of how I was (mis)treated at Northern Illinois University due to the fact that I am legally blind. This university claimed to be an "equal opportunity" institution when I was applying to attend there. After I arrived there, however, the university had quite a different attitude. Please check out this page and see for yourself. Who would believe that such blatant discrimination could take place at a public, state funded university in this day and age? A disabilities organization known as the World Association for Persons with Disabilities (WAPD) picked up my story and added it there their web pages.
