Regrettably, even though my personal WWW site is astonishingly basic, the sheer volume of advertising junk that was being shoveled onto it (both by prohosting and fortunecity) prevented it from working correctly(!) and has forced me to setup elsewhere.

In case you were wondering how bad prohosting and fortunecity are - nothing could illustrate the problem better than the WWW page you're looking at now. Everything outside this box is plonked on it by the aforementioned WWW hosting services.
