A glimpse at the oddity that is Jessica Simms
Aurra Sing, the only female bounty hunter known to the Star Wars galaxy Since you're here, I'm assuming you think you want to know more about me. Trust me, you really don't. But just for the hell of it, I think I'll tell you anyway.
I'm one of those people that the popular kids at school whisper conspiratorially about
behind the back of as they walk by--and I'm glad to say that's the extent of my existence in such circles. I'm a freak, geek, and nerd rolled together to form one strange eighth-grade girl. I'm addicted to Star Wars. Probably, I know more about it than is really healthy, but hey, it's all good. When I'm not at that torture device known as school, most of my time is spent staring at my computer screen, typing in wazzup's, lol's and the like to my buds in IMs. I play the alto saxophone, and I think I play it at least decently. I'm going to be in 9th grade marching band next year, and I hope to be able to get a high chair (That's not meant as "highchair", the thing babies sit in, but as a high position in the saxophone section of the band). I'd love to get first chair again, but playing with seniors, I seriously doubt I will.
Saxophone is the extent of my musical ability, but I do have certain other creative
talents. I love to write; in a way, my writing is the center of my life. I usually plan my days so that I can get time to write at least two pages on a story that I have going every night. I
write poetry and fiction (mostly sci-fi), and for a young, inexperienced author, I'm okay at it. That's probably because of my mum; she's a really, really good poet, and though I've not read much of her fiction, I'm sure it's of the same quality. She's the one who inroduced me to writing, and she's also helped me out along the way with tips and critiques to help improve on my ability. I love to invent new worlds--probably because the one I'm in right now isn't all that exciting. It's amazing how things like that work out :-)
Let's see...not really much else to tell. If you feel like talking to me still--despite the overwhelming evidence you have here that I'm less exciting than your living room wall--go ahead and instant message me. On AOL IM service, my screen name is FettGirl1986. I
usually accept all IMs, unless I already have too many conversations open, or I'm doing something important.
Well, that's my life. Pathetic, yes, I know. I accept all sympathy donations....just e-mail me, and I'll let you know where to send the check...
;-) j/j
Tiny note: This site is new and under major construction, and it's also my first one, so
please have pity and don't laugh outright until you've left the site...or at least pretend to be stiffling your laughter for the sake of the young netian and newbie to the world of website creation that I am. Thankee kindly :-)
Peace and the Force to all!
This is one of my poems. Most of my poetry is told to me by the voices in my head, who are actually very good with words. Just kidding. This one is actually fiction, though the emotions are based on real-life. Read on if you dare :::evil laugh:::
SERPENT'S POISON
My innocence is gone
I see that now
The forbidden fruit came to me
When I was empty
and I endulged in its bitter-sweet exctacy
My heart craved
Excitement, a vision
A change from my monotonous existence
So I shook the tree at the center of Eden
Plucked the apple from the sky
And warpped around me
It's bitter-sweet ectacy
Oh sin of passion
Sin of greed
Oh sin of rapture
Hath been freed
So tiny child I once knew
Cry, I do cry for you
Victim of the serpent's poison
Veiled in self-created bliss
My eyes missed the fire
I was descending through
Flames grown from a colision
In the no-man's land 'twixt heaven and hell
That engulfed me with thrilling, killing, agony
I drowned in the blood
Of my victims past
Insane from screams of souls lost
Maze of pain
And oh how I longed again for that
Forbidden fruit's ectacy
While I floundered in thrilling, killing agony
Oh pain of hunter
Pain of prey
Oh pain of lovers
Shades of gray
So tiny child I once embraced
Such a sad, pale, beautiful face
Victim of the serpent's poison
I look for Eden still
Or perhaps look even for hell
But in nothingness I fall without an end
Even worse I watch her fall below me
Who I once was
Innocent child
Now victim of the serpent's poison
Boba Fett, the best bounty hunter in the galaxy
