Hi. My name is Ben Friedman, and I'm a student at the Friends' Central High School, just outside of Philly. I'm in 9th grade. I live in Villanova, and I have one sister in 6th grade. I really like sports and that is why I created this webpage. My favorite sport to play is baseball, but I also like tennis, basketball and golf. My favorite sport to watch is basketball. I also like to watch football, and sometimes baseball. My favorite sports team are the Philadelphia 76ers, the Philadelphia Phillies, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the North Carolina Tar Heels basketball team. My favorite player of any sport is Lou Gehrig. I hope you like my page!

Here is my Top Twelve Greatest Baseball Players of All Time:(This is just my opinion at the moment, it could change. I really think that any of these players could be higher or lower on the list. I also that players did not make the list maybe should have made it in a lot of peoples opinion. People's opinions change, and this is my opinion as of right now. And all of these players are much older than I am, so it's hard for me to exactly make this list perfect.)---------12. Sandy Koufax, 11. Ty Cobb, 10. Honus Wagner, 9. Cy Young, 8. Joe DiMaggio, 7. Walter Johnson, 6. Hank Aaron, 5. Christy Matheweson, 4. Ted Williams, 3.Willie Mays, 2. Lou Gehrig, 1. Babe Ruth. There are a bunch of other players that I think could have made this list: Pete Rose, Frank Robinson, Cal Ripken Jr., Mike Schmidt, Brooks Robinson, Yogi Berra Mickey Mantle, Nolan Ryan and Ernie Banks. If I'm forgeting anyone just e-mail me and tell me, and the next time I might put him on the list.

The Sixers have had a pretty bad team before the last couple years when they have made the play-offs both years and have gone to the second round. Here is the roster for the 2000 Sixers play-off team:G Eric Snow G Allen Iverson G Aaron McKie G Kevin Ollie G Ira Bowman F George Lynch F Toni Kukuc F Tyrone Hill F Jumaine Jones F/C Theo Ratliff C Matt Geiger C "Big Mac" Todd MacCulloch----- People for the 2000-2001 season:G Craig "Speedy" Claxton (R), G Jermaine Jackson, G/F Mark Karcher (R), F Antonio Lang, F/C Nazr Mohammed, Assistant Coach: Maurice Cheeks, Head Coach: Larry Brown, General Manager: Billy King, Team Owner: Pat Croce------------- The Sixers have had a lot of news in the off-season. They have been trying to trade Allen Iverson. At first they were trying to get Grant Hill, and then they proposed a 4 team, 10 player trade. Neither of these trades worked. They have ended up with the same team as last year, except for their 1st round pick, Speedy Claxton, and their 2nd round pick, Mark Karcher. I think the two biggest threats to the Sixers in the Eastern conference is the Orlando Magic and the Miami Heat, it could be an all Florida Eastern Conference final. I hope the Sixers have a great 2000-2001 season!
