The USS Fairburn is intended to be a role-playing, writing and art workshop, based on the Star Trek (Next Generation) Universe, but without many of the restrictions of the Star Trek incarnations as we know them. We are only new, straight out of spacedock, and so if you join now you have the opportunity to shape the crew, and the destiny of the newest Galaxy class in the Fleet.However, you don't have to be an active participant in order to be a member - what we are here for primarily is to share our creativity, and in order to do that, we need an audience! Civilians are just as big a part of the Fairburn as anyone in Starfleet; all will be welcomed, as is constructive criticism.
The characters' profiles and the opening scenario, "Arrival" are now up. These are intended to be an insight into the original characters and a writing guide for the Fairburn universe.
