Deep Space Nine was a show with a rich collection of recurring characters. Of these, my personal favourite was Vedek Bareil. A Bajoran spiritual leader, his faith in The Prophets was profound but his views were progressive. He wanted Bajor "to join hands with people of all races and learn to trust again". This brought him into conflict with the more reactionary and isolationist elements in his society, personified by Vedek Winn.

Many of the pics here are screencaps which I made myself. Because they are screencaps, they aren't all as clear as I could wish, but they will at least be new to everyone.
