Welcome to Diverse-3d. Diverse-3d is a "newly" started 3d production -and web site dedicated to Computer Generated Images made with such programs as 3dsMax and Photoshop for the purpose of creating High Quality 3d images and animations, which currently consists of one man, namely me, Thomas Banner. Temporarily this page will hold images made solely by me but soon, hopefully, others will join in with contributions to a "Guest Gallery".

You may have seen models or images previously created by me, and that is because I often contribute to the Beyond Babylon site and community(see link below!), also known as Babylon5 Modeller's Guild, where I moderate and go crazy with the fun hobby of creating and recreating images and models from the tv-series Babylon5 and Crusade.

In the model section you will find old models I made in old 3ds4 and Max 3.0 of Babylon5 ships etc. When new models have been released in Beyond Babylon I will make them available for download here so you can enjoy them yourselves! At the moment, there are only a few old 3ds4 and Max3.0 models available. All the new models I have made was done using 3dstudioMax3 and have been on hold because of the late redesign of Beyond Babylon. When their models section finally goes online you will be able to download more than 10 "new" models of B5 ships for 3dsMax 3.1 Including my newest version of the Excalibur seen in the short lived tv series Crusade

Finally, a few words about me :-) My name is Thomas Banner, I go by the name Banner all the time, even though my two brothers also carry that name(I registered first! :-�) I am 21 years old and live in Denmark, a small Scandanavian country, for those who don't know it. I am, currently, a freelance VFX modeller and animator, and if that wasn't enough, I am also a musician and am in two bands, Crowd Control and Twist and I go by the name of Fantasphere. If you were wondering what kinda music it is, it is MANY things!!! Among the genres are: Ambient, Drm'n'bass, Techno, Trip-Hop, Industrial, and even Pop. -There are even more but I think that basically covers it. :-)

UPDATE 23/6 2000 I finally got the domain name and for those who want to bookmark and take notice of it the new name is http://www.diverse-3d.com Also, I did some redesigning of the banners(no pun intended) along with adding the newest pics and removing the old(hope you got it downloaded in time ;-)) When my skills are better an entirely new site will appear at this url! Update 26/3 2000. Six new renderings are available in the gallery. -Go see, some of 'em are actually quite good :-D Also, Beyond Babylon/B5MG will hopefully go online within the next month and there will be about 10 new models for 3ds4, 3dsMax 3.0 and 3.1 plus maybe a few LW conversions(can I hear the yahooo?) When BB has released the models I WILL make them available for download HERE!



Update 4/3 2000. I finished the 4th version of the Minbari Warcruiser for Max3. It is now ready for download. Please report any bugs to me. Click onSharlinto download the mesh, -including maps. To see how the baby looks like clickHereandHere
