Simon Bisley

For a long time I have been trying to get some info on Simon Bisley, but haven't found it. If this is due to my own failure or Bisley's wish to remain anonymous I don't know, but bear in mind that the information I have on Simon Bisley isn't necessarily correct.

For a long time I thought that Bisley was American, but from an interview with him I gathered that he's in fact British. He first started with comics when he signed up with 2000 AD, a British comic company. They assigned him ABC Warriors and Sláine, something I can't thank them enough for. On both these comics he did a wonderful job. After that DC Comics snatched him and he started to work on Lobo, Batman and Judge Dredd.

Bisley has also costarred on several other different projects as well, often as a cover artist. He did a great job in Melting Pot, where he has done the covers and the coloring. Other titles he has worked with are Death Dealer, Aliens, Bad Boy, Bodycount, F.A.K.K 2, Jaguar God and so on...

Besides that Bisley looks like your average Heavy Metal-freak with long black hair, muscular body and black leather vest, he actually looks like how I would portrait Lobo in real life.
