| The Eden Project |

In the year 2192 the Eden Project was a plan to colonize an Earth like planet in the G8-system with the syndrome children and their families. Unfortunately, the Council didn't have all the resources and money to make this dream come to true.
So, multiple explosives were placed in the Eden Advance ship. But in the last minute, the crew realised the danger, after they saw a news report telling that the ship was exploded, and got rid of the explosives. But to the Council and all the people on Earth and the stations, the Eden Advance team was already dead.

The crew didn't have many chances, so they decided to continue their journey to G8-system.

22 YEARS LATER

The Eden Advance ship arrived in the system and, the crew woke up. Suddenly there were some disturbances and they had to launch the escape pods. A Council's member, Morgan Martin with his wife Bess Martin took a escape pod all for theirselves.

After landing to the surface of the G8 system planet number 89, captain O'Neil saw no other possibilities than open the hatch door. They opened it and a paradise filled with its lightness and shining their eyes and minds.

The Colonists found some of their equipments, which were shattered around the planet G889 in cargo pods. They found also some very handful vehicles and they could head for the New Pacifica.

But the planet wasn't uninhabited, the Colonists were surprised by an alien species, whose appeared in a young pilot Alonzo Solace's dreams. They were the Terrians, who once were like humans, but who had become a part of the earth.

THE CANCELLATION OF THE EDEN PROJECT

The Council communicated through virtual reality with Phd. Julia Heller, but officially the Eden Project was cancelled and the hundreds syndrome families had to stay on the stations. So the colonists had to fight their way through troubles on their own.

THE CANCELLATION OF EARTH 2

Earth 2 was created by Billy Ray, who wrote the original script for Amblin Entertainment, and it was developed and co-created by Mark Levin, Carol Flint and Michael Duggan. The show was produced by Universal Television and Amblin Entertainment in association.
Levin, Flint and Duggan worked also as executive producers.

The pilot episode "First Contact" was aired during year 1994, but the rest episodes were shown in 1995 USA. Like many US tv series, Earth 2 became more popular in Europe than in the United States, and it was quite a shock when E2 was cancelled, and NBC really losed a really fine show.
Universal had made decisions for a second season, which would have more aliens and more action. Also the producers were changed, and finally all the disagreements caused the cancellation.
It was a big terrible surprise for the series' fans and for the media, because E2 won an Emmy Award of outstanding individual achievement in special visual effects with episode "First Contact".
Nothing seemed to help to get back the series, not even Eden Advance fan club's acts. Eden Advance web site is at .
Earth 2's first and last season ended to a pilot episode style episodes "All About Eve", which was more sci-fi than most of the E2 episodes.

THE FUTURE - EARTH 3?

Though E2 is now buried deep in the earth, Mr. Steven Spielberg have been interested of the story. As we know, Amblin Entertainment was Mr. Spielberg's own production company which was named after his early movie.
Nowadays Steven Spielberg is one of the three owners of DreamWorks SKG, which is a really fresh entertainment company. DreamWorks is the sum of different departments: DreamWorks SKG Studio, DreamWorks Interactive, DreamWorks Music and DreamWorks Animation.

If you wish to have at least a little possibility to get Earth 2 back (which is recommended) feel free to contact Mr. Spielberg at DreamWorks Studio.
But, if and when you write to him, please be honest and polite, and do not associate this Lost Beacon web site to his company or Universal, because this site is just an individual fansite and it is not association or co-operation with those companies mentioned in this site.
