EMA-219-XT Armored Turbo

The Armored Turbo had all sorts of additional servos and hand-held gear as part of its Command Armor package that I couldn't figure how to fit in the rules. I was finally able to do so thanks to the hardpoint rules. They are available at http://pages.mville.edu/~rob/archives/houserlz/hrulz010.htm

I calculated the fuel based on the original weight, and I'm not sure why the fuel is stored in the CA. The odd nature of such an arrangement is why I put the "basic" fuel in "extra" internal fuel pods. The extra thrust is also based on the 39 ton weight.

The verniers invert the usual CA/multiplier system. They only work when the CA is attached but raise the whole mecha's cost. The original A-T had a normal MV of -2 and an armored one of 0. Because of the Balance Modifer, I had to increase the verniers from +2 to +4 to compensate.

There was no weight efficency on the original Turbo, but it was so close to the 39 ton breakpoint that I just couldn't resist. The MMM had +1 verniers as part of the basic mek, but the weight eff. eliminated the need for them.

The Binder pulse lasers should really be linked to each other, and probably interservo linked to the other binder. Adding a basic link to each one brings the cost to 489.4 CP

Having backup sensors in the head CA (which elminates the -2 penalty for sensors on the torso) is an interesting idea, but only becomes useful if the main sensors are destroyed by themselves, rather than being lost when the head is blown off. I think the latter is a much more frequent event. And one hit to the head CA will destroy it...

The Armor Buster could be held in 2-hands rather than one hand and one binder grasper, but the latter allows the other arm freedom to parry attacks with its binder.
