This STOL transport was designed in Isreal in the late 'sixties. It can transport troops and has some attack capability with added machine guns and rocket pods. Most of the Isreali military versions are today used for Electronic Warfare. The above picture was taken in 2000 at Ben Gurion airport. Production ended in 1988 with over 90 delivered, including over 70 in military service.
