This German heavy bomber prototype of 1917 had a fuselage that entirely filled the interplane gap, which was supposed to improve lift to drag ratio. Performance was limited and the structure was weak, the first had its wings fold during a test flight and the second crashed, ending development. Four Mercedes engines drove two propellors.
