The Net Prophet emerged from the Virtual Unreality Portal when Thanatos threw Jordan Boone into it. Spider-Man grabbed hold of Boone's legs, and used his amazing strength to pull him out of the portal. . .dragging the figure who became known as the Net Prophet into our world. Word quickly spread that he was the prophet of Thor, and that his appearance heralded the return of the Thunder God. That wasn't far from the truth, although the Thor that returned was produced by Alchemax!
Spider-Man helped the Net Prophet, and they fought together shortly in Downtown. That was when the Net Prophet went his own way, to learn who he was, and how things had changed. He knew that he had a daughter and that his abilities had somehow altered while he was in VU dimension. It was around this time that he was "plucked" from the time-stream by Lord Tyme's operative, the Apostle!
Lord Tyme had planned on using the Prophet to ensure that Alchemax wasn't destroyed, and the VU Portal was left undamaged. He intended on using the energy within the dimension to further his own power. However, the Scout rescued the time lagged Prophet and used his own chronological abilities to heal him, so that he was in his right mind. The Net Prophet joined Scout, Thor, the Lady Sif, and Kabal, so that they could stop Lord Tyme's plan of altering the time-stream. After fighting Halloween Jack, who turned out to be Jordan Boone/Loki, the Scout used his last reserves of chronological energy to send the Prophet back to where he had been kidnapped.
