You've been running for days, running from the ever-present threat of Thread. Your eyes are blinded by fear and the rain which is pouring down in sheets. The salty sea water of Pern's Eastern Coast is lapping at your feet. You look out to sea and notice a solitary seagull flapping desperatly to gain altitude and find refuge above the storm clouds. Suddenly, you trip on a huge rock and go sprawling face first into the sand. Lying there, you notice a weird little cavern high up on the cliff face. Peering over the ledge at you is a beautiful golden fire lizard! You blink to make sure you're not seeing things. You're not. The little firelizard blinks twice and then turns and runs back into the cave. All your life you've dreamed of capturing a fire lizard to keep as your own! You jump up and grab at the cliff face, clawing your way up onto the low ledge. When you finally manage to scramble up onto it, you notice that the cave entrance is unusually large! It's almost human sized. Then, somthing hits you, an unexplainable reflex to turn around. You look and see your worst nightmare! Thread. You want to kick yourself for being so stupid as to forget why you were running away. Turning, you dive head first into the cave and run down a narow passage. Suddenly, you're in a nice, huge cosy room. There are millions of fire lizards sitting in little grooves in the rock face. Staring at you with beautiful whirling eyes. In the middle of the room, there is a girl about the age of 13. On her arm is the queen you saw on the ledge. She smiles at you and says "Hello! Welcome to Sandy Cove! I'm Alex!" You look at her and realizing she's no threat, smile back and give her your name. "I found this place one day while searching for washed up seaweed on the shore. Lately though, it's been getting crowded though, so I've decided to adopt them out to people. If you'd like, Mia here has clutched! There are 19 eggs ready for adoption! Here's the availabe eggs:
