The Babylon Project was Earth's Last, Best Hope for Peace among Alien Races. The first 3 Babylon Stations all met with disaster, and Babylon 4 disappeared without a trace only to reappear briefly 3 more times before it was gone for good.
Babylon 5 appeared to be a 'Blessed' station since it did not meet with the disasters of the previous stations. Babylon 5 was to serve a greater purpose in the grand scheme of the Universe, but they were oblivious to the stations importance. If they had only known the trials and tribulations they were to go through...

BABYLON 5

Fiction Based on Real Life?

Have you ever been watching Babylon 5 and see a Story Line unfolding that looks life something happening now? The Third Season really looked familiar pertaining to the politics of the world, and our 'Human relations', then going on to the 'News Media'.  The 'Night Watch' and 'Psi-Corps' bear a resemblance to the supposed 'Peace Keeping' missions of the UN. How about the episode with ISN turning their interviews into propaganda by using certain excerpts out of context? Fact is indeed stranger than Fiction, and you only need to turn to Babylon 5 to see both combined.
Mr. Strazynski has done an excellent job on his episodes, they are on the most part believable. The episodes that aren't too believable are more like a comedy, and I believe that everyone needs to laugh, or learn how to. Life is just merely 'Too Short', which I believe was the point of Sherridan having only 20 years before the effects of Lorien's life force wore off.
Am I hooked on Babylon 5?? Heck yes!!!!! I used to be a "Trek" fan, but it never held my attention like B-5 does.
