The end of the Heroic Era has passed.  Earth has dwindled from a civilized planet to a war-torn one.  Nations war with each other, each a deadly player in an even deadlier game.  All any nation strives for is world domination.  The "American Dream" no longer exists, exept in the memories of a few.  The few can do something about it.

Men and women, reclaiming the roles of the Heroic Era's greatest heroes, strive for a world where armies aren't necessary, and the Earth can return to it's more peaceful state before World War III.

The Marvel Tangent 2099, or MT2099, is a collection of stories about a war-torn world and the men and women trying to restore peace to the planet.  These individuals have adopted the names of the heroes of the Heroic Era.  These are the stories of their struggle.
