The Doctor, Sarah and Harry find themselves trapped in the midst of a terrifying struggle to death - between the ruthless power-hungry Cybermen and the determined, desterate Vogans.

Transported by the Time Ring given to the Doctor by the Time Lords, the Doctor, Sarah Jane and Harry Sullivan find themselves returned to the spaceship that was the scene of the Ark in Space.

They find it devastated, the crew struck down by a mysterious "space plague." And on board are the Cybermats, lethal war machines which wait for their masters, the Cybermen, to come and wreak their revenge ...

Doctor Who - Revenge of the Cybermen was written by Gerry Davis, the creator of the Cybermen, and this novelization is by Terrance Dicks, who was script editor of the series for five years.

Doctor Who - Revenge of the Cybermen has recently been reshown on BSB television and has been released as a BBC video cassette.

In this adventure the Doctor, with Sarah and Harry, returns to the space station Nerva (the scene of the Ark in Space adventure) to find that the Tardis has drifted back a few thousand years in time. Plague is raging trough the Nerva which is manned by only a handful of frightened survivors. Sarah falls victim to the mystery virus. The Doctor discovers that the Cybermen have taken over the station in order to use it to destroy the planet Voga where there are extensive gold mines. They wish to destroy all the gold in the solar system as it is a deadly metal to them. Will the Doctor manage to defeaty the Cybermen and find an antidote to cure sarah?
