Here are some short videos which were available on the Stereolab WWW page (the best!!) but I decided to encode some of them in RealPlayer's Real Video format so that they didn't take ages to download.
To do this I downloaded the Quicktime files and converted them to .AVI's, using Adobe Premier, and then converted them to .ram format. This did reduce the quality a little bit, because of the three data convertions. Also I found that parts of audio dropped out in one file.(a bug in Adobe Premier?). I thought I'd put them up here anyway because I knew fans would be curious to see what they were like.
Unfortunatly, you will not be able to stream them, but seeing as they are so short I'd suggest you just download them locally and play them off your hard disk drive (right mouse click on the link and select "save link as"). You will need at least a 133 or better or the framerate will drop (most were encoded at 45.5k bitrate for higher video quality so you need a fast CPU!)
If you wish to view the original Quicktime clips, they used to be on the ORIGINAL Monash uni STEREOLAB site, which was removed late last year. It was sad to see it go.
