ello and welcome to my site. This is version 3 of my Web site. The first version of this site, which was over 6 years ago, was basically an experiment in the HTML language. This site makes use of Cascading Style Sheets and JavaScript so you will need a browser that can handle these features in order to experience this site to its fullest. Since this site has just recently been redesigned, there may be some errors and bugs. If you come across a problem, please email me and I'll have it fixed ASAP. And now, a little information about myself...

Education
In case you haven't noticed, my name is Jeff. I'm a class of '99 graduate of Ulster County Community College with an Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems--Microcomputers In Business.

Career
After graduating, I was offered a job at a web design/print design company. I worked there for about 3 and a half years before leaving in December of 2002. While there, I was able to learn about the many different skills involved in the web design & development field. I am fluent in the languages of HTML, Active Server Pages (ASP), ColdFusion and Cascading Style Shees (CSS). In the future, I hope to increase my knowledge about JavaScript and Flash and learn XHTML, XML and PHP. I'm currently taking steps to start my own business in the Web Design & Development field. Please feel free to visit J.T.S. Design, Inc. at http://www.jtsdesign.com to learn more about my company's services and to view my portfolio.

Hobbies
My hobbies include playing pool, camping, researching my family tree and reading, but my all-time favorite hobby is music and the guitar. I've been playing guitar since the fall of '94 and I still feel that I have a long way to go. I mainly play rhythm guitar but I've been trying to pick up more leads. I've never been in a band and find it hard enough just to find someone to jam with since there are only a few people that I know that actually play.

I play many different styles of music including Classic Rock, Alternative, Metal and some Blues. At one point, I tried learning how to play Flamenco/Classical guitar, but that turned out to be fairly difficult. Some of my influences include Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Metallica, Black Sabbath w/Ozzy, and Pantera.

I currently own 5 guitars. The newest guitar that I own is a semi-hollow body '69 reissue Fender Telecaster Thinline. It has a natural wood finish with a pearl pick guard. My favorite guitar is my Fender Stratocaster which has a maroon finish with a black pick guard. I also own an Epiphone Les Paul with a sunburst pattern, a teal Ibanez RG-270 with a Floyd Rose tremelo bar and an Acoustic/Electric Seagull guitar. I currently use a Peavey Transfx 208s amp with a built-in effects processor.

I also own a black Ibanez TR-70 4-string bass, a Yamaha PRS-630 keyboard and a mandolin. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to truly learn how to play these instruments but hope to learn more in the future.
