There is more to writing a song than simply putting words to music. No matter what type of field of song writing you want to write, Gospel, Country, Rock, Pop, Blues, etc., you will be bombarded with basic rules.  Please don't let me scare you off, for most of these rules you learned as far back as grammar school, you will only simply need a little refreshing. Some of these rules may be new to some of you, but they need to be well learned and put back into your subconscious. Then you will be able to flow and create your ideas more freely. Then you can keep your mind more on the song, making it a more polished and a well learned craft.

    I have tried to keep each lesson short and straight to the point. Then each individual can pick and choose from what each needs to know.
