Hello there!
Yes it is true! Now there is a realaudio player availavle for your amiga. It runs fine on my
030 but if you should find any bugs/problems that are NOT in the faq feel free to mail me.
Permission is granted to include this on any coverdisk/cd as long as you send me a copy.
How fast is it???
On my 030 it decodes 14.4 streams in realtime.
You will probably need a 040 at least to be able to listen to 28.8 streams in realtime.
Requirments
* AHI
* Radecode (included)
* Radecode2 (included)
* Amiga (surprise! - well all i have tested it with is my 030 and it works)
History
0.46 First internet release
0.47 Added a SLOW option, for users like me who has too little
horsepower. :-(
Fixed two bugs :-(
0.48 Fixed the bug with spaces in filenames.
0.50 Fixed some more bugs....(fileinfo).
0.52 Added fileinfo for RealMedia/RealVideo files.
Future
Well I don't know...The guys who is porting Netscape/Amozilla has been
promissing a RealAudio player too...If that happens I might not finish
this project...
Other than that i will try to learn C. So it might take a while for the next
update to happen...

Q: Can i use it in DOpus???
A: Yes you can. see the docs.
Q: I cant seem to get it working, what am i doing wrong???
A: Make sure that radecode and radecode2 is in your C: directory.
Q: Is this player supported by RealNetworks???
A: No, I didnt recieve any response at all from them... :-((
Q: Why are there so many files???
A: for easy updates. (ie. if someone finds a faster/newer version of radecode
all they have to do is replace the old one, instead of me having to fit it all
in one program - meaning longer times before it is released.)

A: You have either found a new bug or a new codec (common problem with pc's!)
please mail me.
Q: My files have very long filenames can i use a requester or something???
A: Yes you can, just enter: RAP (and a filerequester should come up - this
also work if the play switch is activated, ie RAP PLAY)
