Never before has their been a more dynamic male R&B vocal group, to emerge on the international music scene. AZ 1's style and stage presence or setting audiences on fire with standing ovation after standing ovation. AZ 1 has performed alongside international performers such as Barenaked Ladies, Liberty Silver, Amy Sky, Deborah Cox, The Nylons, and Michael Burgess to name a few. AZ 1 has performed at venues ranging from NBA basketball games to BET's Planet Groove. Making history, as the only unsigned recording act AZ 1 performed live at "The Docks" in Toronto. Their opening performance was broadcasted to millions across the U.S, Canada, and Europe. In 1999 AZ 1 signed to Gateway Management and has now completed their debut cd. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| AZ 1 consists of three gifted young men. Don Daws (musician, composer, vocalist, writer, arranger, producer), Raj Ramawad (writer,vocalist), Darrel Gordon (writer, vocalist). Each member of the group takes on responsibility for his own contribution to the performances. Don puts production together. Vocals are divided between Raj and Darrel. The production team also included Liberty Silver, Brian Smith, and Studio Engineer Sam Weller. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
