Right now there is a war raging all over the world for the souls of our youth, we can no longer sit back and watch as we lose our children to suicide, drugs, alcohol and violence. The youth of this generation have to be shown that there is an answer, there is hope and there is peace. This war is not of the flesh, it is a spiritual war, it is a war with no boundaries, it rages everywhere! It is time for the church to set aside its foolish differences and unite together as one body. We can no longer sit back in our pews (better known as comfort zones) and pray that it will all somehow get better. If we don't start reaching out to our youth and giving them the Biblical and spiritual tools they need to survive, it will only lead to more shootings like the tragedies in Paduca, Kentucky and Colorado. Life is so much more than survival, but try telling that to a young person who has no hope...This site is dedicated to all the young people who feel that there is no hope. There is hope! Freedomcore's mission is to prove to our young people that God is not boring and He has nothing to do with religion...I heard a young person say once that they did not want to go to heaven because they thought they might die and have to go to church. There are too many church leaders who are stuck in religious pitts of traditionalism. They say that music can not be of God if it is too heavy or too dark...Tedd from EDL said it best..."Illumination shines brightest on the darkest face." On this site you will find reviews of Christian hardcore and rapcore bands like Everydaylife (EDL) and Payable On Death (P.O.D.) and many, many more. These bands are right on the cutting edge of Christian music, with a very "tell it like it is, and take no prisoners" approach. These bands go straight to the heart of the issues that today's youth are struggling with and offer them a positive alternative on dealing with their problems. Although this site is for all youth, I want to give a shout out to all you who walk to school in fear for your lives because the violence is so out of control...Please! Stay strong and remember that we are all praying for you everyday. Your prayers are not falling on deaf ears. Soon the tables will be turned. Hello out there, greetings from Brisbane, Australia...For those of you who didnt know, I now live in Australia with my wife of 2 weeks. Obviously alot has changed in my life and God has been doing amazing works in my life. I think I am the poster boy for the phrase "God moves in mysterious ways" never in a million years could I have ever imagined moving over seas, well, theres lots more to tell so stay tuned and get ready for some big changes. I want to take some time to talk about the difference between believing in God and knowing God as your personal Lord and Savior. As Christians we've all heard the classic phrase "Well, I believe in God, and thats enough for me" Well, the point I want to get accross today is that it is not nearly enough to simply say that we believe in God and that we're pretty sure that theres something out there thats bigger than us. God is not just some guy who sits in the heavens waiting to rescue you whnever your in need, God is our creator, His love for us knows no limitations and He desires greatly to have a personal relationship with each and everyone of us, in my eyes to live without Gods grace is basically not really living at all. You may think that you do not need God in your life, you may even be thinking "Why should I follow God? What has God ever done for me?" Well before you think these thoughts, ask yourself...what have I ever done for God? I here alot of people complain that God doesnt answer there prayers, well, let me ask you this. If you were God and I only came to you when I was in need of something would you want to answer my prayer? To know God is to grasp his heart, to know God is to spend time with Him on a daily basis and to spend time simply basking in His awesome presence. There is no place on this earth that will ever compare to the joy and the peace that is experienced when in the presence of God. God has no limitations to what he can accomplish in your life, we are the only ones who set limitations on God and when we do God cannot fully move in our lives. We must be aware that with God ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!! God has done things in my life that I never thought possible. God has brought healing to my life where I thought there could never be healing, God has brought Joy to my life where I thought there would never be joy again. If you want ot know God on a more personal level the best way to start is to spend time in His word everyday, and when your not in His word just simply spend time praying and talking to God. You can talk to God just like you would talk to me or anyone else, and konw matter what you've done God will forgive you instantly, His grace has no limits, however this does not mean that you know have a licence to sin! If you thimk you can pull one oever on God I've got news for you, it doesnt work! I will be the first to say that having a personal relationship with Jesus is not always the easiest road to walk, there will still be trials and you will still experience pain and sorrow in your life, the difference is, if you have a personal relationship with God when those trials and tribulations do come you allready have an edge on everyone else because you would have a direct line to God, and I can tell you from experience that if you call out to God He will answer you and He will deliver you from your strife, if you are hurtung right now I would definatly encourage you to give God a try, if you get on your knees right now and ask Him to deliver you He will, do not get of your knees until you here from God, press in until you cant press in anymore and then press in some more if you have to, God will heal you if you ask for the healing in Jesus name. If you believe you will recieve, most of us have not simply becasue we do not ask. Hello everyone...I have been in Australia for almost a month now and things are going quite well. Joy and I are currently looking for a new place to live that would be closer to church. The weather here is awesome, I'm sure most of you know that its always nice and warm here. I know that all my friends back home in Canada and the U.S. are experiencing some rather cold weather at the moment.
