Welcome to Twisted Harmony... Sorry for the lack of updates, merely because my server messed up. I will try and get back to updating as soon as I can, but right now, since I'm really swamped in school work, I have not been able to fix the site. But thanks for all the support! PLEASE BOOKMARK THIS PAGE AND COME BACK LATER FOR THE FULL VERSION ONCE AGAIN!!! I'M LOOKING TO BE ONE OF THE BONE THUGS SITES ON TOP ONCE AGAIN!!! Anyway, I have received a copy of Flesh's new album from Koch Records, and they have asked me to give a review of it. Here it is:

FLESH-N-BONE
5TH DOG LET LOOSE
ALBUM REVIEW

5th Dog Let Loose, the sophomore effort by Flesh-N-Bone, is by far some of the best material to come from him. Despite the many times the album was pushed back, it is well worth the wait. Flesh has brought out his trademark soft, quick flow once again, but has also elevated it to a higher level. This album chronicles some of Flesh's struggles and his inner-most thoughts. He says that it was meant to have many spiritual aspects to it, and he has achieved that. Now, for those who love the hard, murderous Bone flows and beats, you have not been forgotten. The album has that old-fashioned Bone feel to it, featuring the token distorted voices of the Bone brothers' first three group albums and the T.H.U.G.S. album (Flesh's debut solo album). He brings to the table a diversity of musical styles.

Although, there are a few weak spots, such as "Amen" featuring Montell Jordan. It has a somewhat monotinous sound of "Amen, amen, amen" over and over again for the chorus, which could have had more time spent on to add depth to the song. Despite the majority of "Amen", Montell Jordan does have a good soulful sound during his parts. Some of the highest points are "Way Back" featuring Flesh's wife, Chasitie "Ms Chaz" Howse, and his brother and Bone Thugs affiliate, Layzie Bone. It is a remixed version of "If I Could Go Back" on the third Mo Thugs album. "Kurupted Flesh", featuring Kurupt, is a hot track as well. It isn't the traditional Kurupt sounding song, due to the dark atmosphere of the song, but it is hot none-the-less. If you're looking for a relaxed, spiritual feeling, "Say A Little Prayer" is for you. It contains his verse from Def Jam's Rush Hour Soundtrack's "If I Die Tonight" as the chorus and features back up vocals by Ms Chaz. 5th Dog features Layzie Bone, Wish Bone, Montell Jordan, Kurupt, Mo Thugs, and a few others. Over-all, 5th Dog Let Loose is enough to satisfy the loyal Bone Thugs fan, as well as many others!
