Tony Iommi

Anthony Iommi, born February 19th 1948 in Bermingham, England.
Mr. Iommi is a true inspiration for any guitarist. He is missing the tips of two fingers from his fretboard hand, from an industrial accident. It was his last day on the job before turning professional musician. He went through a period of depression cause he thought he would never be able to play again. Being persistant, he made thimbles out of a melted down dishwashing detergent bottle (Later placed leather over the tips to help grip the strings) to place over the tips of his two injured fingers. His never say die attitude has been a true inspiration to many guitarist.
