I saw my first Lynyrd Skynyrd show in about 1974.
A friend and I hitch-hiked from the tip of Southern Illinos
across the River to the Sedalia Rock Fest. We sneaked into the
show in some bales of hay in the back of an old truck with some
"hippies" that had picked us up. One thing I DO
remember
thru' the Psychodelic-Wild Turkey haze is Lynyrd Skynyrd on stage.
These gentlemen have put together a monsterous three guitar attack that must be
experieced to be appreciated. Been to every show I can since then! Of course I had
to pay gate for those! But WELL worth it! Come on in check the scene.
The astonishing power is not to be dismissed!
