The ABC's Of Salvation
Are You A Christian? Have You Been Born Again?
Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."(John 3:3).
If you have not been born again, the following is an easy-to-understand explanation of how you can be saved. In fact, this plan of salvation is so easy that it's called: "The ABC's Of Salvation"
A = All Have Sinned
WHO HAS SINNED?
"For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23
WHAT IS THE PENALTY FOR SIN?
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23
B = Believe That God Loves You
JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS FOR YOU
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him would not perish but have everlasting life . For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." - John 3:16, 17
HOW MAY I BE SAVED?
"For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" - Romans 10:13
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ASK CHRIST TO SAVE ME ?
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." - Revelation 3:20
HOW DO I ASK CHRIST TO SAVE ME ?
Pray this prayer: "Dear Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that you died for me and paid the penalty for my sins. I need your forgiveness and I am willing to turn from my sins. I open the door of my heart and invite you to enter my life as my personal Savior. I am willing to follow and obey you as the Lord of My life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."
C = Confess That Jesus Christ Is Your Savior
TELL OTHERS THAT JESUS HAS SAVED YOU
"that if you Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." - Romans 10:9
"For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth Confession is made to salvation." - Romans 10:10
