The Haywood Wakefield Band is a four piece band and has been performing live Country Music, in and around Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa for 24 years.  They are an energetic, fun, band who loves to play for the people.  They play old & new country music with a little rock-n-roll thrown in.  Lead guitarist Eric, has been known to hang upside down from a stand while playing his fiddle.  Sue often joins the crowd to dance the "Cotton-Eyed Joe," while playing her guitar. They play various bars throughout the area, as well as weddings, anniversary's, street dances, firemen's dances, and holiday parties. 
The present members include:

     Bob Porter - Drummer and vocalist, has been with Haywood Wakefield  for 12 years.

     Eric Tippery - Lead Guitar, Fiddle and vocalist - has been with Haywood Wakefield for 10 years.

     Sue Sweeney - rhythm Guitar and vocalist - has been with
Haywood Wakefield  for 5 years.

     Doug Sorensen - Bass Guitar and vocalist - has been with
Haywood Wakefield  for 4 years
