A few years ago, I began experimenting with making music using the personal
Film1 First of Film Series: simple arrangement.
All music on this release was created on a 486DX4(PCI bus) PC with a Turtle
computer. A good place to start, as far as the musical material was concerned,
was to create beats and rhythms which were inspired by my early synthesizer
listening influences...Tangerine Dream, Crystal Machine, Kraftwerk, etc...
Then, since I've always liked the way music was created for films, I layered on MIDI
keyboards to produce an atmosphere. There are NO solos, (well...almost).
Film2 Different tune...similar approach.
Film6 Some layers added to fill-out the arrangement.
Anything3 First Variation...techno beat 1.
Anything4 Second Variation...techno beat 2.
Anything7 Third Variation...chimey.
TechTile Bouncy repetitous melody...great for looping.
Teckno1 More Techno...first use of an Arpeggiator.
Arpeg2c Techno Dance-A-Thon, (Loop it baby)!
Rock1 Medium tempo Rock in Aminor.
Rock3 Piano Variation.
Rock4 Reggae Variation.
Atmosphere2 More film soundtrack material.
Atmosphere4 First Variation.
Atmosphere6 Second Variation.
Atmosphere7 Final Variation.
Ponty1 I thought it would be fun to jam on Jean-Luc Ponty's " Fake Paradise", From his "Cosmic Messenger" album...sorry about the F-ups!
Theme8 Third Film soundtrack idea.
Theme9 Fourth Film soundtrack.
Songx Fifth and final Film soundtrack.
Taiko Up-Tempo tune making use of the Taiko Drum.
Beach Tropez soundcard, a Roland TR505 Rhythm Composer, and a Yamaha DX100 synthesizer
(most drum/percussion tracks were played on the DX100 keyboard)
