This week I am gonna review the new cd by the BLUNT BROTHERS. I just bought this and have an early copy so u can check out the review that Ive made on it. The cd is one of the best Ive ever heard and finally brings together Redman and Method Man, who last year collaborated on Def Jam's Month of the Man and impressed critics everywhere. The two have now made an entire record entitled BLACKOUT. The cd's main highlights are the previously released BIG DOGS, ALLRITE CH'ALL, and TEAR THE ROOF OFF. For those of you who read the SOURCE, I think that there isnt enough equipment to rate this cd 5 mics is too little to explain how good this cd actually is. The lyrical ability of the blunt brothers is phenomenal and this cd should be regarded as a HIP HOP classic!!! Go out and get this as soon as you can cause this cd should not be slept on it is great!!! New releases for next week are as follows: Run-DMC "Crown Royale" and Inspektah Deck from the WU FAM entitled "Uncontrollable Substance." Tune in next week when I will review these two LP's and maybe more.

I first want to congratulate The 1999 DMC champion DJ CRAZE who by winning did something only one other DJ has accomplished. Winning two DMC championships in a row!!! He blew away the competition and was awarded his second set of golden 1200's. Other placers were the UK's Tony Vegas (2nd) and the US's P-Trix (3rd). I also would like to congratulate The Skratch Perverts who barely defeated the Allies by two pionts winning the team competition. Next up is the ITF championships where I believe Craze will repeat there too as Skratch champion.
Craze also announced that he will be defending his title next year which if he wins will make him the only DJ to ever win 3 championships. Also at the DMC championships Grandmaster Flash announced that X-ecutioner DJ ROC RAIDA had been knighted and is now known as Grandmaster ROC RAIDA!!! Congratulations to him too. Also the Invisibl Skratch Piklz have announced that the Dirty Style Championships will be held in Tokyo this year. For more info go to www.skratchpiklz.com or go to the Link at the bottom of my page. What I wanna say!!!

I have decided to talk about fake people who say they are hip hop this week. Well... This seriously pisses me off when people say "yeah dude I love HIP HOP!!!" But when you ask them a simple question like what are the the four elements of hip hop they are like " I dont know" thats freakin stupid because you gotta know where HIP HOP came from if you dont know you might as well be a freakin' person who listens to Hanson or something!!! I mean you gotta know about the Old School, You gotta know about how it started. I bet if I asked what was the song that enraged KRS-ONE to start a battle with MC Shan not even 1 out of 10 people could tell me what it was!!! Or even if I asked who Busy Bee was no one would know!!! Most people dont even know who is responsible for bringing hip hop to us. If you dont know the answer to any of these questions hit yourself over the head with a freakin hammer cause you are fake FAKE damn it!!! If yu dont know what any of these are you better get to learnin' cause you need to know. Well, thats it for this week cause i am beginning to be pissed off about this subject so tune in next week to WHAT I WANNA SAY!!!
