THIRTEEN
has survived 5 years. Much has come their way and just as
much has slipped by. Among their more prized accolades, is a string of radio
interviews from when 'The Planets' got released, a runaway hit with 'Way
Too Late' on 94.7fm (cheers...) and the tightening of the Machine on various
frantic outtings around the country.
Having played everywhere from the city to the shitty, THIRTEEN has
outlived and outshined many of its peers. Theirs is a tale of determination and
belief, struggle and survival. Oh, and a quest for the most classic, touching
and heart wrenching tunes, this side of the atmosphere ........

THIRTEEN are very special, because anyone who's ever had a head for dreaming, will see history preparing to repeat itself - again. These four talented individuals have embarked upon a mission to make this band the greatest band in the world : that is their primary goal and unswerving motivation. They believe that they will do it.
THIRTEEN consists of Lu dePina and Gregory Anderson, who formed the band in back in '95 after running into each other at a magazine counter. Rhythm man George Chav, an undeniable prophet of swing and his compadre on bass guitar, Dave Stevens, later joined the two to create an engine room of unparalleled distinction.
Their main aspirations are to take music to new heights as the band has a revolutionary free-thinking approach to music.
There has never been a band like THIRTEEN. Their music, with its sense of rejuvenating freedom, has its intent rooted in the hope that it can bring happiness and optimism to our bloodthirsty planet. That is why they are here now.
Peace

Much is happening at the moment in the 'Teen camp. As many of you know, we've just come outta the studio with a brand new single, and we are Gobsmacked to say the least. Our own personal 'John Leckie' appeared in the form of a lanky Englishmen with a penchant for 'Makers Mark' and a sgraggly hairdo, who goes by the moniker of Peter Pearlson! What a splendid job he did! With that we are visitng many important people in the next few weeks in the hope that one of them rascals will snap us up for the big thyme!
