Introducing

Lee Gibson pics for The Lee Gibson Band

. Lee Gibson started "playing" music when he was a little boy...he carried a small guitar around the house all of the time. It wasn't until the early 90's that he started performing with a real guitar on stages here and there. Lee is a 6'4" drink of water from Winchester, TN. He grew up there and moved to Murfreesboro,TN in 1990 to attend MTSU majoring in music performance and education. After leaving MTSU, he started performing in local venues, and it didn't take long for him to catch on. He has played everything from honky-tonks barely big enough to enter to "A" clubs that signed artists are slated to perform. As far as his writing goes, it's hard to describe- you might say Buck Owens meets Steve Earl and they talk it over with Jack Daniels... Because you know exactly what's being said in each of the songs, and every now and then, one of them makes you want a sip. He has been writing for several years and recently started co-writing with a few others. Lee and Jay Studdard, a Georgia boy, have teamed up recently, and have put together some intense charts that make even the most anti-country person take notice. These fellows might be the ones to look for the next time you're looking through the writer's credits.

I hope you enjoy the Lee Gibson Band webpage. It will be updated monthly. There are already several new pics that need to be posted and we can't wait for summer to roll around. Lee and the band will be releasing a CD shortly available for sale over the net and through our local vendors in the area. Take care and visit us soon. Don't forget to sign the guestbook!!

It won't be long before this webpage is complete. .
