Introduction

The world of TRIBES is a wondrous place of fun and excitement, most of the time, until an LPB logs onto the server. Yes, those irritating Low Ping Bastards with their ping under 100 who march around blowing people away with little or no effort. You can try duelling against the LPB, but that usually ends in your bloody and gruesome death without so much as a scratch on the LPB. Well as we already know, all of you HPBs are the most skilled players to ever grace the world of TRIBES so for LPBs to win, it MUST be because of their ping. God forbid that there someone actually BETTER than you! So immediately you start whinging on the main chatline about the unfairness of life and begin personal attacks on the LPB. Yeah, stick it to the Man!

How do the LPBs get such a low ping?

Contrary to the popular belief of many HPB morons we are NOT, and I quote: 

'...spoilt little Asian kids who asked Daddy to buy them a cable modem because we suck...'

We are University students making good use of the University hardware paid for with our HECS fees. Other unofficial LPBs probably have a lot of money, and maybe they are little rich kids, but don't be a fool and accuse us.

LPBs have no skill at all!  It's just their ping!

Everyone knows that LPBs have no skill whatsoever and the only way that they get an insane score by tearing everyone a new ass is from superior technology. Bullshit! Are you a fuckin' moron? Of course it takes skill. 

Do you think that the low ping can aim for the LPB? 

Do you think the ping fires the weapon for the LPB?

No, of course not. The lower ping enables the character in the game to react more quickly to the player's commands. Therefore when we click on 'fire' the shot comes out fairly soon after, however, it does not allow us to fire more often as the weapons have a built-in delay.

And to pre-empty any stupidity, these scores aren't for those fucking pathetic 'mods' where you aim your weapon in the general direction of the enemy base and level the entire fucking thing in 1 shot. REAL players only play on servers running the base code.
