Silencer is an easy to install, easy to learn
8-player Action/Strategy game for the Internet that emphasizes team play.
Players control high-tech hackers on Mars called "Silencers," who are
trying to overthrow the tyrannical Martian government. Silencers
secretly hack military computers, then stash the recovered secrets in
their hidden base. The first team of Silencers to retrieve three top
secrets wins the mission. The losers are identified and destroyed by
the Martian Central Authority. There are five underground Silencer
agencies vying for power. Players choose one when they create a Silencer character.
What's great about Silencer?
- Hidden base created wherever the player wants: Enemies can't see it unless they observe an enemy entering or exiting it.
- Disguise in an action game: Is that a worker or a disguised Silencer?
- Action and Strategy together at last. To win in Silencer you'll need to "Think Strategically but Act Instantly."
- Lots of ways to win: Play saboteur, quarterback, hacker extraordinaire, ambush king, cannon meister, camera-bomb king, or the unstoppable. Some strategies require brute force, others timing and cunning.
- Spend the money you make hacking on equipment and ammunition: laser cannons, bombs, rockets, remote detonators, poison, flares, and much, much more. In Silencer you'll purchase during game play.
- 2D art makes for a beautiful world and simple navigation.
How to Play
Use of weapons, inventory, and all of the strategic elements of play are
covered in the three tutorials found on the main menu of Silencer. Be sure
to play all three to ensure that you have mastered the basics of game play.
