A great site for AoE information and current news, theAge of Heavens Site contains sections for Age of Empires, AoE2 and the AoE Expansion pack, Rise of Rome.
At the Official Age Of Empires Site, visitors can download the 1.0b patch for Age of Empires. I advise that you do, because to play on the Internet Gaming Zone, OR to play someone who has the patch, you also must have it. You can also download the patch from this site, which is probably less crowded. NOTE: the patch will NOT work with the demo.
