NEWS! (as of 10 MAy 1998)
For those of you who come back to this page on a semi-regular basis, you might notice some changes to this page (Finally, you say). The reason I haven't been updating is two fold-- 1.) I have been pulling a 12-hour Night shift as the battle Captain for my Division's Warfighter Center. We were fighting a simulated war in real-time, and I was the one responsible for everthing that happened (or didn't happen) on my shift. 2.) In my free time, I have been too busy PLAYING Q2. There are a few new MODs out (check the mods page), and my brother and I have been working on quite a few things. . .

*A dedicated server for several MODs (he has a T-1 connection cuz he's still in college!)

*Making a new clan (he and I are the only ones so far, so if you want to join, e-mail one of us please. . .we want to make it a fun clan, with little to no obligation to anything other than having a good time.

*Making Logos for the new clan

*Making models for the new clan

*Making skins for the new clan

*And coming soon to a thater near you, we are going to to begin working on a MOD!!!! Gonna call it the the FUQd MOD i think (depends if other websites will host it with that kind of name. . .) It will be in development for a while, so if you have anything you would like to see in a MOD, send us suggestions. We want to make this one of the best MODs yet! (Unfortunately, this mod won't even have a beta out until Christmas of '98, we have to learn the source code first. . . ouch.

Skins:
Ok, so I do not have an extensive skin library yet, but the few that I do have I have mainly gotten from places like the skinforge and  Telefragged I do however, have several custom skins, that unfortunately belong to my clan (which you will see later on the page)  As I create more skins, you can get them from this site, usually zipped too.

The applet below is for clan members to input their passwords to get their custom clan skins.

PASSWORD

Here are some of my favorite skins.  Crow I made myself. . .the others are just fun. Put these in your male player directory.
These are for when you want people to know they were beaten by a GIRL! These go in you female directory (if you didn't already figure that out)

If you want the coolest. . .a kenny model AND a cartman model, with all the appropriate skins, go here, zjrunner's page

Blood!
CLAN!
Okay, as far as my clan goes,(Alliance of Death) we are about 10 lucky individuals who just happened upon each other while gaming on the net. As we notice other players that are fun to game with, and are of our relative ability. . .we ask them if they would like to join our CLAN. Now to the unknowing individual, that may sound a little bit suspicios to some other famous people like: David Koresh, Grand Wizards, Unabomber (Ted Kaczynski), and any other given extremist group. Well. . .yes and no. We do murder people ruthlessly, but nobody dies. The 10 of us use a special kind a bullet known as the cyberbullet. With these, people are magically brought back to life. . .so we can kill them again. HAHAHA! And also, we have a lot of fun. In a game, you can use the custom skins to tell each other apart from the others. This prevents fratracide (well, it at least helps prevent it; sometimes you can't help it if your buddy get caught in a rocket blast.)

But seriosly, as soon as the server get to where I can add files again, I will post some pics of our custom skins here, but you won't be able to download them, otherwise, you could be a spy, and start killing us internally, using our skins against us. See the mentality? (I know, because I did that to another clan before. tee hee hee

Some of the members of our clan go by these Heat* names. If you would like to ask more about our clan, most of the names are linked to that person's e-mail. Eventually, all will be, just as soon as I find out what they all are.

EmperorXavier (Founder of Clan)

[I am leaving some out, mainly due to a brainfart, and also, I don't have the list :) ]
*A Heat name is a handle that we go by on the gaming network Heat. I'll get to that later too. Our REAL names are secrets. :)

Quake II Modifications (MODs):
These are a listing of several of the more popular MODs and where you can get them.

Follow me to the MODs page!

Gamespy

Gamespy is a wonderful place for Quake 2ers. It is a raw data list of a TON of servers that play on the internet. They range from standard games, to your favorite MODs like CTF and Jailbreak. (Assuming you actually read the top part of this page, and got all of your MODs of choice ;) I've had it for a little over a month, and I use it all the time. The upside. . you can play literally thousands of different player/level/MOD combinations from one console. VERY easy. The downside is, it can take a long time for the servers to refresh, so you never really know how many players are in a room until you get there. (Gamespy may say 2, but you may get there and there could be none. . . or 12!) This is a great tool to have in conjunction with Quake2 and Quakeworld. Which i will get into next. . . It even has a place to add your favorite servers, much like a bookmark on a web browser. Actually, this can be thought of as a Quake browser. (It does Q1, Q2, and Hexen2) You can add your own server, and even lookup players online. I reccomend you at least go check it out.

You're Fired. . .
HEAT!
The Heat! Network is the place where my Quake-ing days started. It is an awesome place to go for all of your gaming needs. Primarily because its free, but also because you can become involved in a close knit community as well. As I mentioned earlier, heat was where I first got into a clan, and I have met several other people there as well. Also, they offer a place to go for ALL games that are multiplayer; Diablo, Warcraft, Command and Conquer, Doom, etc. You get a password and a username, they have a heatmail system by which you can contact fellow heat players. (This is good for sending challenges, or taunting people that you have played, because you often times will not get their e-mail during the heat of battle) You also have the option of becoming a premium member for something like 30 bucks a year. Pretty cheap compared to other multiplayer networks. With a premium membership, you can earn degrees that you can use as online money. With degrees you can purchase games, clothing, and even renew your membership. They also offer a cool program called the Footsoldiers. In the Footsoldiers, you are part of a recruiting team by which you get other players to join the heat network, and the more people you get to join, the higher your rank. Pretty neat, especially if you have a lot of friends! By the way. . .if you should happen to join heat and the Footsoldiers. . .tell them you heard it from ljrunner.
QuakeWorld
Now I am not the know-it-all when it comes to QuakeWorld. For one... it is HUGE. For another... I don't have it yet. (Ouch, there goes the credibility) BUT, many individuals that I play against/with, have it, and enjoy it immensely. What QuakeWorld can do for you is automatically download foreigh skins, update MOD patches, and a slew of other things too. So if you want to hear of some first-hand experiences with QuakeWorld, e-mail EmperorXavier (In my clan E-mail list) because he has it and keeps bugging me to get it too. (Which is probably what I'll do as soon as I finish this update.) OR, you can check out their webpage by clicking the link above. Sorry I can't tell you more. . .maybe next time huh?

whoa! you are theth person to visit here. Amazing!
