THE STORY

Long ago there was a dark realm called Makai. This is where the souls of the dead lived out there afterlife. This realm was ruled by three major clans, all battling for the same thing, control of Makai. One of the clans was ruled by Morrigan Aenslead and that was the Aenslead clan. Another was the Doma clan which was ruled by Jedah and another called the Bosital clan.
Jedah died when he tried to open the gates that connected Makai to the living realm. One hundred years later Dimitri woke from his long sleep, because his clan was defeated by Morrigan Aenslead clan. All of these events named all the warriors the DARKSTALKERS, and so the battle continues to this day.
Makai is now currupted and in total chaos. Jedah was resurrected and having foreseen the future of the earth, knew the world was headed for destruction. Jedah decides he wants to save the earth. For this to happen all the souls must be united and become one. Jedah creates a container called Majigen that will be able to hold all the souls of the earth. THE BATTLE BETWEEN DARKSTALKERS CONTINUES

When Morrigan Aenslead's clan defeated Berial she claimed herself as the ruler of Makai. Dimitri was going to battle her and that battle will decide who will be the rightful ruler of Makai. Just before the battle was fought Dimitri's castle was drawn into another dimension by some unnatural force. Dimitri thought it was Doma and vows he will be the rightful ruler of Makai
