The History of the Tudors
The  Tudor period begins when Henry Tudor, a Lancastrian, defeated King Richard III at the battle of Bosworth Field in 1485 ending the War of the Roses which took place between the Yorkists and Lancastrians
Here is a picture of the first Tudor King Henry V. He was an extremely powerful man and many people were scared of him.
Henry had many wives during his time as King. We believe he had 6 wives, his first wife is pictured below. Her name was Kathryn Parr.

Henry V had so many different wives because he wanted lots of children. Between all of his different wives Henry V had 11 children and they all lived together in his palace.
