This site is dedicated to facts and truth about Zanzibar. These Paradise Islands have been put to shame by those who insist on concentrating on the Islands as a "Centre for Slave Trade". Facts tell us otherwise. Zanzibar has always been a beacon of freedom, civilization and culture to the whole of East and Central Africa. It is time for Zanzibaris to be proud again of their history and achievements. It is time for Zanzibaris to know the truth of the so called "Zanzibar Revolution" of January 1964, and the disgrace it brought to their Paradise. One month after the Indipendence of Zanzibar from the British rule, the Revolution sacrificed that Indpendence on the altar of Julius Nyerere. Zanzibar is in bondage again.
