Bart Simpson Joins
Blink-182 (Article en anglais)
Blink-182
is next on the short list of happy musicians to be given such an honour.
Screw The Grammys. To hell with the MTV Music Video Awards. That sort of
token recognition simply pales in comparison to the honour of guest starring
along with Homer, Marge and the gang.
According to MTV News, the
Blink boys have already recorded their voice-overs for the 300th Simpsons
episode. That same episode will also feature a guest appearance by
skateboarder Tony Hawk. The script is complete and everything is good to go,
but the animation process will take anywhere from six to nine months. The
episode is scheduled for broadcast in February.
The story behind this one
has Bart discovering that he used to be a commercial actor as a baby, but
Homer had squandered all his earnings. Bart gets legally emancipated from
his parents, leaves home and finds himself sharing a loft with the Blink
boys. The lot of them end up on tour together. |
