Personal Details
I am 39 years of age and have recently completed 3 years of study based at Bournemouth University and Yeovil College. I have successfully completed the Higher National Diploma in Practical Archaeology. This has given me a very sound grounding in the day-to-day running of an efficient archaeological site. I am fully conversant with the setting-up and operating of the following equipment: EDM/Total Station, Theodolite, Level, Plane Table, Resistivity & Magnotometry Meters including the Fluxgate Gradiometer. I am also fully conversant with Measured Building Surveys.
I have 6 months excavation experience, in both academic and commercial excavations, and have enjoyed the responsibility of section supervisor at my last dig at Goldfields Farm in Dorset.
I am familiar with the Windows environment, including Word and Excel, and possess a basic knowledge of spatial analysis and GPS software such as , and . I am also fully conversant with CAD and have a number of year�s experience with PlanitPro as well as a limited understanding of . I am also a competent draughtsman having gained 20 years experience in the retail home improvement trade including the design of high street and franchise premises.
My previous career taught me sound business acumen and I am familiar with working to chronological and financial deadlines. I have also been lucky enough to be involved in large commercial hotel contracts including million pound contracts to refurbish the Gloucester Hotel in London and the Sheraton Hotel in Ascot.
I have developed an ability to deal with people from all backgrounds both in person and over the telephone. I have always believed that the first impression gained by a potential customer is of the utmost importance.
I am a good team player but happy to take responsibility if required.
Achievements
I have employed my Internet interests to build, and maintain, a website for my local tenants and residents association with whom I am a keen and active member. Also achieving ISO 9002 accreditation whilst Area Sales Manager with AGS Home
