Hi, my name is Jun and, well, this is obviously a site under construction.  Hopefully...this will soon be filled with useless info about my favorite people and things...i.e. classic movies, Ralph Fiennes, music, opera, and other helpful things that all people should know for their SATs and  MCATs. :)

Robert Taylor

Robert Taylor and Jean Harlow, publicity pic for Personal Property (1938)I've always wanted to make a web page for one of my favorite actors of  the Golden age of  Hollywood. His name is  Robert Taylor. Here, finally, is my dream realized.  Although not as well known today as his contemporaries Clark Gable and Gary Cooper, Robert Taylor was indeed one of the most popular stars at the top movie studio of the 1930s and 1940s, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM).
Here's more info about him.

Jean Marais

pic probably from Beauty and the Beast
Here is another actor whom I admire greatly...Jean Marais.  The sad news is that he died recently on November 8, 1998.  But you can still catch him in the great collaborative works he did with director Jean Cocteau, among which Beauty and the Beast (aka. La Belle et la bete) stands out as a fairy tale classic.

Ralph Fiennes

My favorite Ralph pose from the English PatientLadies and gentlemen, I give you Mr. Ralph Fiennes.  Need I say more?  I think the man speaks for himself.  Or, more precisely, the man's physique speaks for him. So, we shall do as his character in The English Patient does, speak few words but show much love and passion.

Me - that's Jun!

Me and Lik at my 21st b-day/Halloween party

Briefly about myself: me student at Harvard...you trespassing on my virtual property! (just kidding)...
I am a junior majoring in economics right now...as you can see, economics is not the center of my world...far from it...I love movies, especially old ones, and I love music (all kinds...but opera has a special place)...

Various Links

Chibi's Cafe- this is my best friend Lik's place...beware if you are allergic to cutesy things  hopping around and generally spreading joy...yuck!  She has a GREAT picture of Joseph Fiennes though!

Jem's Place  - be careful, this is my arch enemy Jem's domain, and...well, she kinda thinks she's God...need I say more?...no need to disillusion her and crack her shell...hehehe

Quan's Page - Quan's the guy I competed with in high school.  He beat me of course, but hey, we go to the same college and we are good friends...especially since he lets me use his computer to do all my webpage editing and basically lets me eat all his Ramen noodles.

S. Angela's Homepage - Angela is this kooky senior I met at Harvard recently.  I am her VP.  Need I say more?  I kiss her ass, I follow her around like a dog and, in return, she plucks my eyebrows and lets me sleep on her satin-sheeted bed.  We've spent many a quality hours in the Winthrop House dining hall...enlarging our derrieres in the process.

Turner Classic Movies  - if you like classic movies, you'll love the TCM cable/satellite channel.  Visit their site.  I go often just to feast my eyes on their wonderful schedule of monthly movies.  No, I am not crazy.

American Movie Classics - American Movie Classics is also another good cable/satellitle channel to watch for good classic movies.  Visit their site and see what's going on.

The Boston Ballet - This is my favorite dance company in the whole wide world, partly because it's located in my hometown, but more importantly because its members are so talented and such wonderful artists.
