Biographical Information
Being divorced very early, one and a half-year after the marriage, I realized that it takes a lot more than we can imagine getting mature and responsible. I was twenty one years old, a baby of four months old. A very brand new job together with a fantastic course: Executive Secretary;in the best University in Rio de Janeiro, PUC. All that together with an amazing energy for partying many nights a week. No need to say that I tried to do everything at the same time.
I was entering Arts School at 19 years old, at 21 I had to quit, so I did. Just came back to do it again many years after; always I was very passionate about arts, my mother was a classical pianist, since my early childhood she introduced art to me in all forms. But the drawings she used to do, fast and clean, made me be most interest then all. My grandfather later, find out how much I liked and start to give me art books, aquarelles, pastels etc...
Telling the truth I even tried once to live like a real artist in Paris'77, with an American painter (also unknown as me). Att the 7'eme arrondissement rue de Tolbiac, and firmly trying to make and sell ours oils was a case of madness. I did survive there with my French from my basic years in a French school ( in Petrpolis, Est.do Rio, Brazil) and the English was still alive. An ideal mamma I was never, but my children and I had a lot of fun together. We are good friends, we are good to each other, we discuss, we fight, we agreed, we are real people. I love them, I believe they love me too. My older son, Alessandro today twenty-five years old, is married and has a son, Gabriel (two years old). He's computer expert, and have a degree in Business Administration. from Federal University in Rio; UFRJ. Also doing now he's post-graduation, Master Degree in the same BA . Now he's looking for a better job in his field. Sol my young are twenty-two he's artist mind and soul. Working free-lancer for advertising agencies in Rio. Producing videos, etc..but, also had classes in drawing and oil painting with an well known artist in Rio de Janeiro. He's half-American and half -Brazilian, born in Boston, Mass but grew up in Rio.

I started into that 'technology world' being telephone operator. I used computers for the first time at Embratel (the national Communications Company in Brazil) and I worked there as international operator, I loved it, I felt really worldly at the time. Later I decided to change everything and my first idea was to try to live in paintings/drawings. Well I explain I went North ( of the country) because I had an invitation to make illustrations for a book of poesy. My only expenses were what ever I decide to buy for me. Shelter and food I had, plus a salary for my work, by page or by drawing. Suddenly my art was sellable ( not in dollars ..!) But my ego was tripping. People start to like it! That was North were everything costs less and you can live with very little and feel happy. Something very exciting about that trip was that chance; to see my own country outside the metropolis, but in tiny cities were fishermen eat what they fish and drank the local water. Were the beaches were really UN-polluted and clear blues everywhere. No other thing on but a 'bikini' day and night, only bathing in the ocean sometimes for many days, sometimes water around was so filthy that was cleaner the ocean. Drinking coca-colas for days, could not find more than others two options: beer or 'cachaa' (swear to God, that one you don't want at all! Something like 48% alcohol made of sugar cane) Here comes the best during most of the time we had as a normal every day meal huge fresh lobsters from the ocean in front of us. I'm a strictly lover of seafood include anything (till now). Do you eat seaweed? I love it. Know were I learned to like it? Boston, Mass.'75 in a Macrobiotic Community, leader by Mr.Mishio Kushi,if you don't know, a Japanese teacher at East and West Foundation.

Personal Interests, after myself..

 Art...ART...art...art...more one thing...

madonna.gif (20492 bytes)art.

Mind and soul I wish the day had more hours, the energy I have were stronger and had more strength my imagination had roots everywhere in this planet so could I develop it in every source to the maximal degree. I literally envy MichaelAngelo to it's most raw concept..I'm sorry that I'm so egocentric and grounded.

Travel and travel..

I do travel even alone if I have too..I mean if no one I know is available I do go. Sometimes I'm free to go and I just got a very exciting 'travel-package' for one week or less, I don't give much thinking I pack and go. Since I moved to Sweden that's the kind of trips I'm doing. Swedes are very prone to travel, Europe is wh ere they are, everybody tries to escape the dark and cold days of Winter and even Autumns are not so gentle here. Instead of burn and toast my skin in the beaches resorts I prefer the big cities or not so big but those that have history to tell, beauties to see, museums and galleries to visit. Of course if I'm in my very good moments, even time for shopping I find. With that type of mentality I've been around Europe a lot. By plane, by train, by bus and by car without forgetting to mention the ships. Last year, '97- I took a cruise from Palma de Mallorca ( 120 miles south from Barcelona,Spain) and during the cruising we visit; Cittavechia (port closest to Rome) and Rome itself from Piazza d'Spagna to the Citt Vatican passing to the others beauties in between. Next we stopped and visited Livorno, Pisa and Florence.Just marvelous all that architecture. There are we in the Tuscany. A brief stop in Genoa, enjoyable really, for my taste a very cosmopolitan. It does surprises. Stop number four, Portofino the paradise on earth! Maritimes Alps as background facing the deep blue ocean. Villas and chateaux so handsome that even for me 'a super S.P.F. 44 woman' pick me up day dreaming as living a life in such place. But then we stopped in VilleFrance sur Mer At that point I was back in my 20's when the sun did only good to me and I really had no excuses to take it at least four hours a day...Copacabana where I grew up, was there to offer me every day after school all the fun, exercise and social life. Well, as I can 'parler' French I went by local bus to every single village in the area...and the area is quite stretched. After the port where the ship anchored, I went to Nice that is in the opposite side of Monaco. Nice is nice and bigger than I thought! Back again, crossing once more VilleFrance, I stopped in Eze, Cap Ferrat, Cap Martin among others smaller and finally I saw the Prince Rainer's Palace in Monte Carlo I don't know why but the city remind me of the Carnival days in Rio de Janeiro, but I think it was only the principality colors; red and white. No doubt the French Riviera is a paradise as I heard before.

Being Brazilian by origin I catch myself wondering in places 'look alike' as Bzios( outside the city of Rio de Janeiro) Porto Seguro and Arraial d'Ajuda in Bahia. Just to mention few. North of the country and South you'll find hundreds o 'Riviera' that can contest the same beauty but can't in infrastructure. Barcelona was the next stop, positioned at the point that separates the CostaBrava and CostaDorada in Spain. It's a bustling and energetic city with a vibrant nightlife winesfly.gif (22670 bytes) Ranked among the Mediterranean's most important ports. The main promenade, the 'Ramblas' commerce of multiplies choices, built on the site of the ancient city walls. Art Nouveau and Art Deco are in extensive in a district close to Plaza Catalunya. But the most exciting for me was see the art of Antonn Gaud: Pedreiras, SagradaFamilia and others that just a genius could imagine it.

Back to the capital of the Baleares islands. We flew back to Gteborg, to the very cold almost Winter. Warm memories of the Mistral that blows all year long a warm breeze...

Mysticism

...better say everything that I can't explain and sounds from other world.

But we know it comes from our minds, fears, sensations..etc. Astrology, I like it. I do spend some time reading horoscope and trying to coop with it. Since I met someone that's really gifted to play Tarot cards, I started to enjoy, and we play at least once a month. Before I used to do I Ching...but now has some years that I lost my book and, never ever did again.
